Preston Guyton has been building businesses and operating in real estate since 2004. Throughout his career he has held licenses as a NASCLA General Contractor, a real estate broker in multiple states, and a Mortgage Loan Originator in five states. He currently holds his Broker in Charge license in South Carolina a combination that gives him a rare, full-stack view of the industry few operators can match.
In 2010, Preston launched CRG Companies, Inc. Over the next decade, the company executed over $1 billion in real estate sales and custom home construction before he sold his stake to partners in 2020.
In 2019, Preston helped launch Revolution Mortgage in Myrtle Beach. Within two years, the branch became one of the top-performing Revolution locations in the country. He departed in 2021.
In 2023, he helped launch Reside Platform, which quickly scaled to a seven-figure operation. It was acquired by lpt Realty in February 2026. That same year, he co-founded Digital Maverick with Jon Cheplak, another seven-figure company that continues to operate today.
In May 2024, Preston founded ez Home Search, Inc. As Founder & CEO, he has built the company into a multi-asset digital business encompassing the ez Home Search real estate platform and Sure Send CRM. As of March 2026, ez Home Search, Inc. surpasses $500,000 in monthly recurring revenue.
In June 2024, Preston co-founded Responsive Mortgage alongside Jon Cheplak and Mike Benton. In only its second full year of operation, Responsive Mortgage is on pace to surpass $1 billion in funded loan volume in 2026.
